Well, it was “tough”. In one sentence, this may be the general description of the questions asked during the all-important Paper I of the UPSC CSE Prelims 2020. Environment, along with Science and Technology formed the major part of the examination. But yes, even without going into the debate regarding the cut-off marks , what we can say is the question paper was tricky, tough and to some extent unpredictable.

UPSC CSE Prelims General Studies Paper I consists of 100 MCQ type questions from different part of the UPSC SYLLABUS
Right answers to those questions give you +2 Marks, while a wrong answer takes away 0.66 Marks from you. So it is very important to be absolutely confident while answering the questions. One needs to read the questions carefully enough to make sure he/she understands the demand of the Question and the Options.
