Context: The partnership between the Technology Development Board (TDB), operating under the Department of Science & Technology (DST) and M/s Chemlife Innovations Pvt. Ltd. is a significant collaboration aimed at advancing the "Commercialization and Manufacturing of Bio-Trace Minerals used in Feed for Animals" project.

• This project aligns with the goals of the National Livestock Mission and focuses on enhancing livestock productivity, optimizing feed and fodder resources, and incorporating technology into livestock management.
• The project aims to revolutionize the manufacturing of bio-trace minerals for animal feed, with a particular focus on the livestock and poultry/dairy sectors. The use of innovative technology, known as 'Accelerated Natural Bio Transformation' (ANBioT), along with the strategic utilization of pupa proteins, forms the foundation of this endeavour.
• The project introduces a proprietary nutrient medium that facilitates chelation reactions under milder conditions, aligning with principles of environmental sustainability. By utilizing pupa proteins rich in hydroxy amino acids, the project provides an economical alternative to imported ligands, thereby supporting India's self-sufficiency goals.
• The developed product, named 'MinBioZen,' exemplifies their dedication to innovation and environmental stewardship.
  • MinBioZen addresses the crucial need for bio trace minerals—such as zinc, copper, manganese, iron, and selenium—in optimizing livestock health and growth. The product integrates bioavailability and stability, showcasing the company's dedication to both innovation and environmental responsibility.
