- Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), observed its 40th Foundation Day celebration on 25 August 2023.
- Also, C-DOT’s Enterprise Security Operation Centre (ESOC) at C-DOT campus, New Delhi and launched TRINETRA.
TRINETRA
- TRINETRA is a combination of multiple Security systems like Security information and Event Management (SIEM), Security Orchestration and Automated Response (SOAR), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), User Entity and Behaviour Analytics (UEBA), Multi-Source Threat Intelligence and others.
- The solution provides 24x7 near real-time actionable cyber-security status and detection and resolution of cyber-threats (Virus, Malware, Ransomware, Spyware etc.).
- It also performs security evaluation of the organization’s IT assets by protecting endpoints including PC, Laptop, Servers and VMs by detecting, analyses and mitigation of vulnerabilities and giving AI-enabled automated responses to cyber threats ensuring the protection of sensitive data.
- The solution is capable of protecting the critical digital infrastructure of various Government departments from the ever-evolving cyber threat landscape.
C-DOT
- The Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) is an Indian Government-owned telecommunications technology development centre.
- The Centre for Development of Telematics was established in August 1984 as an autonomous body.
- Its goal was to develop telecommunication technology to meet the needs of the Indian telecommunication network.
- C-DOT has expanded to develop intelligent computer software applications.
- It has offices in Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata.
