Karnataka leads the Panchayat Raj Devolution Index.
The Devolution Index (DI) report was released by the Union Ministry of Panchayati Raj and the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) on February 13, 2024.
The report evaluates states based on six key dimensions: framework, functions, finances, functionaries, capacity enhancement, and accountability.
