President of India celebrated Dussehra with Jawans in Drass.
About
Drass is a hill station in the Kargil district of the union territory of Ladakh.
It is on the NH 1 between Zoji La pass and Kargil town.
Drass is
"The Second Coldest Inhabited Place in the World" and Coldest place in India
where temperatures can drop to less than -40°C.
It is often called
"The Gateway to Ladakh".
