The World Health Organization (WHO) announced that it has activated the Global Health Emergency Corps (GHEC) for the first time in response to a recent mpox outbreak.

About Global Health Emergency Corps (GHEC)

• Standby Partnership network (SBP)
• Global Health Cluster

At the regional level, efforts are underway to adapt the concept and platform of the health emergency corps to each context.
