The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) received three certificates of merit for Occupational Accident and Disease, Sustainable Investment, and System Resilience, and one certificate of merit for its mobile application (AAA+) at the Regional Social Security Forum for Asia and the Pacific (RSSF Asia-Pacific) organized by the International Social Security Association (ISSA) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The app allows users to book online appointments, check-in without waiting in line, access e-Health records, request home sample collections, and check eligibility for various ESI benefits.
The app supports eight languages, including English, Hindi, and six regional languages.
It was established in 1927 under a mandate of the International Labour Organization.
It promotes excellence in social security administration by providing professional guidelines, expert knowledge, services, and support to help its members to create flexible social security systems.
India is a member country of the ISSA.
