Naku La
Context: Indian and Chinese troops clashed at Naku La in North Sikkim last week, in what the Army termed a “minor face-off”.

- There was a clash at Pangong Tso also at that time as the nine-month-long stand-off began at several locations across Eastern Ladakh.
About Naku La or Nathu La
- Nathu La is a mountain pass in the Himalayas in East Sikkim
- It connects the Indian state of Sikkim with China's Tibet Autonomous Region.
- Nathu La is one of the three open trading border posts between China and India; the others are Shipkila in Himachal Pradesh and Lipulekh (or Lipulech) at the trisection point of Uttarakhand–India, Nepal and China.
