About NAURU
- It is a small island nation located in Oceania, on the south-western Pacific Ocean, 45km south of Equator.
- It was formerly known as Pleasant Island, microstate in Micronesia, part of Oceania in the central pacific.
- Area is of around 20 square km, oval shaped nation, one of the smallest countries in the world.

- Since it has colonial past, it is within the Australian monetary system. Legal tender of this country is Australian currency.
