Context: According to the Niti Aayog, 75 initiatives have benefited a wide range of people. These are described in a book titled "Best Practises in the social sector: A Compendium 2023," which was published by NITI Aayog Vice Chairman.
Details
- From combating malnutrition to marketing black rice to integrating students' talents and experiences into a credit-based system, the Niti Aayog has recognised 75 projects in the social sector from the Centre and states/UTs as "best practices."
- 14 of these "best practices" have been initiated by Central Ministries, two are joint projects between the Centre and state governments, and the remaining are from 26 states and UTs.
