Details

The Palianytsia missile is a long-range drone missile newly developed by Ukraine.
Named after a type of Ukrainian bread, “Palianytsia” carries cultural significance that has turned it into an symbol of resistance for the country.
The completion of its development was done in 18 months.
Need: Western allies including United States do give Ukraine long-range armaments but rule out their usage within Russian territory as a result of fear for escalation. ATACMS missiles could reach at least 250 major military targets across Russia; however, such restrictions limit the access to just 20 targets for Ukraine’s strikes.
