• The Prime Minister shared the vision for the PM Janjati Adivasi Nyaya MahaAbhiyan, aiming to reach primitive tribes living in forests.
• The Rs 24,000-crore project aims to ensure the last-mile delivery of welfare schemes and provide protection for Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs). PVTGs are identified as the most vulnerable among the tribal communities.
• The objective is to address the lack of basic amenities such as proper housing and schools for the children of PVTGs. The PM emphasized that the government is committed to improving the lives of these groups and not just including them in statistical data.
