About the Samarth Incubation Program

It is launched by the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DoT), a telecom research and development body under the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Ministry of Communications.

It focuses on promoting innovation in: telecom software, cybersecurity, 5G and 6G technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) applications, and quantum technologies.

C-DoT has selected Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) as the implementation partner. STPI, under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology(MeitY) , will assist in managing and delivering the program in a hybrid mode (online and offline).

The program will run in two cohorts every year, each lasting six months. Each cohort will have a maximum of 18 startups, making a total of 36 startups in one year.

Eligibility and Benefits

Only startups that are recognized by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) can apply. 

Selected Startups under ‘Samarth’ will get:

  • A grant of up to ₹5 lakh per startup
  • Office space for six months at the C-DoT campus
  • Access to C-DoT lab facilities for research and testing
  • Mentorship from C-DoT technical leaders and industry experts
  • Networking opportunities with investors and business leaders

Selected startups to get an opportunity for future collaboration under the C-DoT Collaborative Research Program.
