The ‘Samarth’ program launched by the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DoT).
It is launched by the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DoT), a telecom research and development body under the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Ministry of Communications.
It focuses on promoting innovation in: telecom software, cybersecurity, 5G and 6G technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) applications, and quantum technologies.
C-DoT has selected Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) as the implementation partner. STPI, under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology(MeitY) , will assist in managing and delivering the program in a hybrid mode (online and offline).
The program will run in two cohorts every year, each lasting six months. Each cohort will have a maximum of 18 startups, making a total of 36 startups in one year.
Eligibility and Benefits
Only startups that are recognized by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) can apply.
