Eligibility

Indian nationals and Indian institutions are eligible.

Institutions, voluntary organizations, legal entities, academic/research institutions, interventions/uniformed forces, or other institutions can apply.

Candidates must work in disaster management fields such as prevention, mitigation, preparedness, rescue, response, relief, rehabilitation, research/innovation, or early warning.

Screening Process

A screening committee, formed by the Secretary/member of NDMA, evaluates all received applications.

Prize for Institutions

Certificate of recognition.

Cash prize of ₹51 lakhs, to be utilized solely for disaster management purposes by the winning institution.

Prize for Individuals

Certificate of recognition.

Cash prize of ₹5.00 lakhs.
