Context:

The Assam National Health Mission, in collaboration with Piramal Swasthya and Cisco, has launched the "Niramay" project to demonstrate the integration of digital health technology to enhance the state's public health care.

This is a step towards strengthening Assam's public health care by realizing the vision of the Honorary Prime Minister of the National Digital Health Mission.
This initiative is based on Piramal Swasthya's unique integrated medical technology platform, AMRIT (accessible medical records via integrated technology).
The project works to strengthen the digital infrastructure that enables telemedicine interaction, rapid diagnosis, patient recording, and grassroots data collection in three emerging areas of Assam (Barpeta, Daran, and Baxa). increase.

Recent experience from the pandemic has highlighted the importance of a strong public health system.
Digitization and public-private partnerships play an important role in this.
Niramay enables continuous maintenance and access to relevant stakeholder real-time data for informed decision making.
It aims to improve the quality of care and the medical experience by strengthening the medical system at the grassroots level and creating a series of care. "

It is an integrated technology platform developed by Piramal Swasthya that creates and stores electronic health records for public primary care beneficiaries.
Beneficiaries will receive a unique ID that facilitates the referral mechanism of the public health ecosystem, and will be able to receive primary health services in an available, accessible and affordable way. This is a public technology platform for primary health care.
This helps governments make evidence-based decisions by ensuring the collection of high-quality data.
Frontline workers can use this platform for effective payee management and remittance tracking.
With a focus on beneficiaries, AMRIT assists beneficiaries by creating standard treatment protocol mechanisms, reducing treatment disparities and duplications and ensuring quality treatment.

This includes two submissions, the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) and the National Urban Health Mission (NUHM).
NHM envisions providing universal access to fair, affordable and quality medical services that are accountable and meet people's needs.

NHM strives to ensure the achievement of the following

Reduce maternal mortality (MMR) to 1/1000

Prevention and alleviation of anemia in women aged 15-49 years
Prevents and reduces contagious and non-communicable mortality and morbidity.
Injuries and emerging infectious diseases
Reduce household out-of-pocket spending to total medical expenses
Cut annual tuberculosis incidence and mortality in half
Reduce the prevalence of leprosy to less than 1/10000 of the population and reduce the incidence to zero in all districts
Annual malaria incidence <1/1000
Prevalence of microfilaria in all districts is less than 1%
Eliminate Karaazar by 2015, less than 1 per 10,000 population in all blocks
